Job Description:

The Training Director is responsible for developing new employees at each retail location. This individual must design and implement training programs while striving for continuous improvement and conducting needs assessments. Also, this person will do follow-up training and regular check-ins on employees after the onboarding process. Furthermore, this person will design a performance evaluation process and ensure that the evaluation results are utilized for new training and follow-up training.
Essential Duties/Responsibility:

Design and implement training programs for the following job positions:

Cashiers/Floor Employees

Baristas
-
General Managers
-
Assistant Managers
-
Accountants
-
General HR Specialists
-
Operations Specialists
-
Marketing Specialists
-
Buyers
-
Provide follow-up training for all employees after the onboarding process.

Design and implement a performance evaluation system.

Evaluate results of performance evaluations.

Engage in one-on-one “coaching in the moment” conversations with employees.

Conduct role-play scenarios with employees to make sure they understand their roles.

Ensure that employees are compliant with all regulations.

Ask employees open-ended questions to identify any potential gaps in training programs.

Provide development opportunities for all employees.

Develop training budgets to ensure that the company meets its financial objectives.
Education / Experience:

Required: Bachelor's Degree

Preferred: SHRM Certification

Preferred: Master’s Degree

Preferred: Approximately 5 years of managerial or training experience.
